Sat. July 11 9:30am – 3:00pm. Still a few tickets available!
We look forward to welcoming you to the 2026 Generous Gardeners Garden Tour! This year’s tour features eight spectacular gardens, primarily located on historic estates, offering a unique opportunity to experience some of Gloucester’s most beautiful private landscapes.
We are piloting a new shuttle and remote parking system this year. If successful, it will allow us to include even more breathtaking gardens in Gloucester’s more remote areas on future tours.
To help you make the most of your day, please wear comfortable walking shoes and allow 2½ to 3 hours to complete the self-guided tour. The eight gardens are spread along a 3-mile route. If you are able, we encourage you to enjoy the tour on foot so that the shuttle buses can be reserved for guests who need transportation.
We will have two dedicated shuttle buses serving the remote parking areas as well as four garden tour shuttle buses circulating along the 3-mile tour route to assist visitors throughout the day.
Because this is a volunteer-run event, we appreciate your patience and kindness if you encounter any delays or bottlenecks.
Check-in begins at 9:15 a.m.
ALL tour booklets and wristbands must be picked up at Stop & Shop Parking Lot 6 Thatcher Road (near CVS)
Parking
Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is NOT GUARANTEED.
There are approximately 400 parking spaces available at several locations, disclosed when obtaining your ticket. There is no parking on the roads near the garden tour houses.
For Gloucester residents with a beach parking sticker, parking may also be available at Niles Beach and along Farrington Avenue, both of which are located on the tour route.
Please note that all guests—including those parking elsewhere—must first stop at the Stop & Shop check-in location to pick up their tour booklet and wristband before beginning the tour.
Proceeds from the Garden Tour help maintain Gloucester’s public gardens, including the beautiful display of 2,000 dahlias along Stacy Boulevard, which is just beginning to bloom. We are very grateful for your support and hope you enjoy the 2026 tour!
